Sebastián Illanes: "I am a late convert. My interest in research was awakened as I progressed in my studies."
Among the reasons that led Dr. Illanes to become involved in the world of research was the example of people who dedicated their lives to this work, such as his father, a fishing engineer whose area of research was marine cultures.

The professor and researcher of the School of Dentistry has consolidated her professional development in the specialty of periodontics, which has allowed her to delve into various lines of research, teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and care for her patients in the Clinic of our University.
