The Universidad de los Andes announced the results of its academics and researchers, who obtained support for the realization of their projects, which will be a contribution to society, thanks to this award.

With the objective of being a meeting place for researchers, academics and members of Congress to promote the generation of laws based on evidence and research, Vincula has become a successful example of the Uandes evidence culture in public policy.

Patricia Matus warns that, given the progression of climate change, forest fires and their health impact will continue to increase.

Following the award of the Millennium Institute of Social Sciences 2025 for the MISTRALL project, translational knowledge will be developed to convert scientific evidence from this research into programs, educational materials, and public policy proposals.
