Se trata del proyecto&nbsp;<strong>\u201cCo-creando conocimiento: La experiencia de pacientes en el desarrollo de una l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n para el manejo de las complicaciones orales de la terapia oncol\u00f3gica\u201d<\/strong>, que busca integrar activamente a los pacientes en todas las etapas del proceso investigativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La propuesta, liderada por<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/investigadores.uandes.cl\/es\/persons\/wilfredo-alejandro-gonz%C3%A1lez-arriagada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wilfredo Gonz\u00e1lez<\/a><\/strong>, acad\u00e9mico de la Facultad de Odontolog\u00eda, se desarrolla en varias fases y tiene como punto de partida la\u00a0identificaci\u00f3n de las necesidades, experiencias y perspectivas de los pacientes oncol\u00f3gicos\u00a0frente a las toxicidades orales que pueden surgir durante la terapia. Posteriormente, el equipo avanzar\u00e1 hacia un proceso de\u00a0<strong>co-creaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, donde pacientes y cuidadores trabajar\u00e1n junto a los profesionales para definir las l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s relevantes y con mayor potencial de impacto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>El proyecto contempla adem\u00e1s una fase de experimentaci\u00f3n en entornos reales y una etapa final de evaluaci\u00f3n, con el objetivo de asegurar resultados concretos, transferibles y con impacto directo en la calidad de vida de quienes enfrentan el c\u00e1ncer<\/strong>\u201d, comenta Wilfredo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un enfoque centrado en quienes viven la enfermedad<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n se sustenta en tres pilares clave:<br><strong>a)<\/strong>&nbsp;la participaci\u00f3n activa de los pacientes,<br><strong>b)<\/strong>&nbsp;un enfoque plenamente centrado en sus necesidades, y<br><strong>c)<\/strong>&nbsp;una mirada integral que aborde no solo los desaf\u00edos f\u00edsicos, sino tambi\u00e9n los aspectos emocionales y sociales asociados a las toxicidades orales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El equipo de trabajo estar\u00e1 conformado por&nbsp;<strong>onc\u00f3logos, psic\u00f3logas, enfermeras y m\u00e9dicos orales<\/strong>, quienes colaborar\u00e1n estrechamente con pacientes y cuidadores invitados a&nbsp;<strong>talleres, grupos de discusi\u00f3n y actividades participativas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Impacto social y sanitario<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La relevancia del proyecto radica en su contribuci\u00f3n directa a mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes oncol\u00f3gicos, al favorecer una&nbsp;<strong>reducci\u00f3n de complicaciones<\/strong>, mejores resultados terap\u00e9uticos y mayor satisfacci\u00f3n con la atenci\u00f3n recibida.
