Jorge Gaete<\/strong><\/a>, acad\u00e9mico de la Escuela de Educaci\u00f3n, particip\u00f3 como investigador en un estudio que valid\u00f3 por primera vez en Chile el\u00a0Cuestionario de Evitaci\u00f3n y Fusi\u00f3n para J\u00f3venes (AFQ-Y8) en adolescentes de contextos socioecon\u00f3micamente desfavorecidos<\/strong><\/a>. Este trabajo aporta una nueva herramienta confiable para la detecci\u00f3n temprana de dificultades de salud mental en esta poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La investigaci\u00f3n, publicada en el Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science<\/strong> <\/a>(Q1, IF 3.0), analiz\u00f3 a 297 estudiantes de colegios p\u00fablicos de Valdivia, entre 13 y 17 a\u00f1os, para determinar si este instrumento \u2014compuesto por ocho preguntas\u2014 mide de forma adecuada la inflexibilidad psicol\u00f3gica, un factor clave en la aparici\u00f3n de s\u00edntomas de ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n y problemas de regulaci\u00f3n emocional durante la adolescencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre los principales hallazgos, el estudio comprob\u00f3 que el AFQ-Y8 presenta una estructura clara y unifactorial, midiendo un solo constructo de inflexibilidad psicol\u00f3gica. Adem\u00e1s, mostr\u00f3 alta confiabilidad y consistencia interna. Su validez se confirm\u00f3 al evidenciar asociaciones positivas con s\u00edntomas de depresi\u00f3n y con la supresi\u00f3n emocional, y asociaciones negativas con la capacidad de mindfulness. No se observaron relaciones significativas con la estrategia de reencuadre cognitivo. Asimismo, el cuestionario funcion\u00f3 de igual manera en hombres y mujeres, lo que permite comparar resultados entre ambos sexos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los resultados confirman que el AFQ-Y8 es un instrumento breve, confiable y v\u00e1lido para evaluar inflexibilidad psicol\u00f3gica en adolescentes chilenos de contextos vulnerables. Su aplicaci\u00f3n puede facilitar la investigaci\u00f3n, la detecci\u00f3n temprana y la implementaci\u00f3n de programas educativos o de salud mental. Se recomienda continuar evaluando sus propiedades en poblaciones m\u00e1s diversas y mediante estudios longitudinales que permitan comprender su comportamiento en el tiempo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
