La investigaci\u00f3n cuenta con el respaldo de la empresa biotecnol\u00f3gica Pregn\u00f3stica SpA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto, que ser\u00e1 posible gracias a la adjudicaci\u00f3n de fondos por el concurso IDeA I+D 2025, \u201c<strong>busca desarrollar una herramienta que permita predecir, en un momento espec\u00edfico del embarazo, qu\u00e9 beb\u00e9s no est\u00e1n creciendo adecuadamente debido a un mal funcionamiento placentario. Esta metodolog\u00eda ofrecer\u00eda una mayor precisi\u00f3n que las t\u00e9cnicas actuales, posibilitando una vigilancia intensiva y la interrupci\u00f3n programada del embarazo para prevenir complicaciones<\/strong>\u201c, comenta el Dr. Illanes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el estudio participar\u00e1 el equipo del laboratorio de biolog\u00eda de la reproducci\u00f3n, junto a miembros del Departamento de Gineco-Obstetricia de la Universidad.
