Esto se debe, en gran parte, a la necesidad de reducir la dependencia de fuentes de energ\u00eda no renovables y a la creciente preocupaci\u00f3n por el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/strong>&nbsp;En el pa\u00eds hay&nbsp;entre 12 y 13 millones&nbsp;de paneles solares en distintas plantas fotovoltaicas y el Ministerio de Energ\u00eda espera que para el a\u00f1o 2050 se llegue a tener 160 millones de paneles solares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de drones y mediante un algoritmo de an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes, el acad\u00e9mico de la\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/facultad-ingenieria\/\">Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y Ciencias Aplicadas\u00a0<\/a>Gustavo Funes<\/strong> est\u00e1 investigando un\u00a0<strong>m\u00e9todo de detecci\u00f3n de suciedad en los paneles solares<\/strong>\u00a0en el proyecto Detection of dust deposition over solar panels using single pixel detection. \u201c<strong>Hoy en d\u00eda la suciedad tiene un papel fundamental en la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda fotovoltaica, ya que puede producir desde la baja de producci\u00f3n hasta da\u00f1os en paneles si no es tratada. En general, este aspecto es m\u00e1s cr\u00edtico en la zona norte del pa\u00eds, donde hay m\u00e1s polvo por el clima des\u00e9rtico. Sin embargo, existen plantas que tambi\u00e9n poseen este problema debido a la contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental<\/strong>\u201d, explica el investigador\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/\">UANDES<\/a><\/strong>, quien trabaja en este tema junto a los acad\u00e9micos de la\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/facultad-ingenieria\/\">Facultad\u00a0<\/a>Eduardo Peters<\/strong>, <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n Cea, Rafael Delpiano y Ricardo L\u00f3pez.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente&nbsp;<strong>las plantas solares m\u00e1s grandes de Chile son<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enel.cl\/es\/conoce-enel\/prensa\/press-enel-green-power-chile\/d202307-guanchoi-la-planta-solar-mas-grande-de-chile-inicia-su-operacion-comercial.html\">Guanchoi<\/a><\/strong>, ubicada en la Regi\u00f3n de Atacama,&nbsp;que cuenta con 893.508 paneles solares una potencia instalada de 398 MW&nbsp;y es capaz de producir 1.100 GWh al a\u00f1o&nbsp;<strong>y la planta<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/chile.edf.com\/es\/noticias\/edf-inaugura-la-planta-solar-mas-grande-de-chile-0\">CEME 1<\/a><\/strong>, ubicada a siete kil\u00f3metros de Mar\u00eda Elena, en medio del Desierto de Atacama, y que cuenta con 882.000 paneles solares, que cubren un \u00e1rea de 435 hect\u00e1reas. Solo esta planta producir\u00e1 suficiente energ\u00eda para abastecer a 500.000 hogares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gustavo Funes agrega que esta investigaci\u00f3n se adjudic\u00f3 un&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/anid.cl\/concursos\/concurso-idea-id-2025\/\">Fondef Idea I+D<\/a>&nbsp;y tendr\u00e1 un impacto directo en la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda limpia, y a su vez, permitir\u00e1 la optimizaci\u00f3n del recurso h\u00eddrico, que es muy escaso en las regiones del norte del pa\u00eds.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201c<strong>En la misma l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n estamos trabajando la incorporaci\u00f3n de IA en an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes y por otro lado la optimizaci\u00f3n de la limpieza a partir de simulaciones diversas plantas fotovoltaica<\/strong>s\u201d, concluye el experto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El acad\u00e9mico Gustavo Funes, de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y Ciencias Aplicadas, se adjudic\u00f3 un Fondef Idea I+D para desarrollar el proyecto &#8220;Detection of dust deposition over solar panels using single pixel detection&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":5593,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[32],"class_list":["post-5592","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia","tag-32"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.7 -
