{"id":5560,"date":"2025-05-09T11:49:02","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T14:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/investiga.uandes.cl\/?p=5560"},"modified":"2025-05-16T15:38:22","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T18:38:22","slug":"farmaco-en-base-a-plantas-busca-potenciar-los-beneficios-del-ejercicio-fisico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/investiga.uandes.cl\/es\/farmaco-en-base-a-plantas-busca-potenciar-los-beneficios-del-ejercicio-fisico\/","title":{"rendered":"Buscan crear f\u00e1rmaco natural que mejore la tolerancia al ejercicio f\u00edsico"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El acad\u00e9mico de la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/escuela-kinesiologia\/\">Escuela de Kinesiolog\u00eda de la Universidad de los Andes<\/a><\/strong>,<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/personas\/oscar-araneda-valenzuela-3\/\">\u00d3scar Araneda<\/a><\/strong>, junto al Dr.<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/facultadcienciasucn.cl\/julio-escalona-arranz\/\"> Julio Escalona<\/a><\/strong>, investigador especialista en fitof\u00e1rmacos de la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucn.cl\/\">Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Norte<\/a><\/strong>, buscan desarrollar un fitof\u00e1rmaco estandarizado con potenciales beneficios para la salud, en base al fruto de\u00a0<em>Phoenix canariensis<\/em>, una especie de palma ampliamente distribuida en Chile y otras regiones del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>El objetivo principal del estudio es obtener y caracterizar qu\u00edmicamente este fitof\u00e1rmaco, utilizando un fruto que actualmente suele ser desechado. Posteriormente, se llevar\u00e1 a cabo un ensayo cl\u00ednico en personas que realizan ejercicio f\u00edsico, evaluando su capacidad para disminuir el da\u00f1o oxidativo y la inflamaci\u00f3n inducida por el esfuerzo, adem\u00e1s de mejorar la tolerancia al ejercicio<\/strong>\u201d, explica el investigador de la Escuela de Kinesiolog\u00eda UANDES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, se cuenta con una caracterizaci\u00f3n inicial de la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de los frutos de&nbsp;<em>Phoenix canariensis<\/em>, la cual ser\u00e1 completada y transformada en un fitof\u00e1rmaco a trav\u00e9s de este proyecto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><strong>Durante el primer a\u00f1o, se realizar\u00e1 la caracterizaci\u00f3n completa y formulaci\u00f3n del compuesto, mientras que en el segundo a\u00f1o se ejecutar\u00e1 el ensayo cl\u00ednico con participantes en condiciones controladas<\/strong><em>\u201d,&nbsp;<\/em>agrega el acad\u00e9mico \u00d3scar Araneda<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de sus implicaciones en el \u00e1mbito de la salud y la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica, este proyecto tambi\u00e9n busca fortalecer redes de colaboraci\u00f3n entre investigadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Estos proyectos permiten expandir la red de contacto de investigadores, potenciando nuevas ideas y capacidades de desarrollar estudios m\u00e1s complejos.
