{"id":1240,"date":"2020-12-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/envirra.com\/themes\/sprout2\/2020\/12\/21\/you-will-never-believe-these-bizarre-truth-behind-game\/"},"modified":"2025-11-26T11:41:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T14:41:28","slug":"academico-rodrigo-astroza-ingresa-al-ranking-mundial-de-los-investigadores-mas-citados","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/investiga.uandes.cl\/es\/academico-rodrigo-astroza-ingresa-al-ranking-mundial-de-los-investigadores-mas-citados\/","title":{"rendered":"Acad\u00e9mico Rodrigo Astroza ingresa al ranking mundial de los investigadores m\u00e1s citados"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El investigador y vicedecano acad\u00e9mico de la\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/facultad\/facultad-de-ingenieria-y-ciencias-aplicadas\/\">Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y Ciencias Aplicadas<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Rodrigo Astroza, ingres\u00f3 recientemente al\u00a0<strong>\u201cTop 2% scientist ranking\u201d, listado de los investigadores m\u00e1s citados a nivel mundial, elaborado anualmente por la Universidad de Stanford.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ranking, que&nbsp;<strong>define al 2% de investigadores m\u00e1s citados a nivel mundial<\/strong>, est\u00e1 dividido en distintas \u00e1reas de conocimiento y&nbsp;<strong>distingue los trabajos que m\u00e1s toman en cuenta otros cient\u00edficos para desarrollar nuevos conocimientos.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cEsta m\u00e9trica analiza si la investigaci\u00f3n que realizamos est\u00e1 siendo tomada en cuenta en otros trabajos, para profundizar e investigar en temas relacionados\u201d, explica Astroza, quien es el primer acad\u00e9mico de la&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uandes.cl\/facultad\/facultad-de-ingenieria-y-ciencias-aplicadas\/\">Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda y Ciencias Aplicadas UANDES<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;que ingresa a este destacado ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rodrigo Astroza, investigador de la Facultad Ingenier\u00eda y Ciencias Aplicadas UANDES  #universidad\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6r_ez6QdV1s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Actualmente son varias investigaciones en las que est\u00e1 trabajando el acad\u00e9mico.<\/strong>&nbsp;Una de ellas es sobre&nbsp;<strong>la amenaza s\u00edsmica sobre estructuras nuevas y antiguas<\/strong>. \u201cEstamos estudiando el nivel de fuerzas s\u00edsmicas que impactar\u00e1n en una estructura, tanto nueva como antigua, y c\u00f3mo deber\u00edan comportarse \u00e9stas ante movimientos s\u00edsmicos\u201d, detalla Astroza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro tema en investigaci\u00f3n es la&nbsp;<strong>alerta temprana de demanda s\u00edsmica<\/strong>, que puede predecir el nivel de demanda s\u00edsmica sobre ciertas estructuras unos minutos antes del terremoto.
