The news was received with great enthusiasm at the UANDES School of Medicine and as a step that encourages further progress in the consolidation of this publication.
The UANDES Community Health Journal was incorporated into the Latindex directory through the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID), making it an indexed journal in a scientific repository.
"In these three years of work together with the Editorial Committee, we received this news with great joy and the conviction that drives us to continue working and growing as a space for scientific dissemination, allowing us to persue new indexing in databases such as SciELO and WoS," says Claudia Rodríguez, Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
For his part, Dean of the School of Medicine Dr. Enrique Oyarzúnnoted: "This, in addition to endorsing the journal's quality, reflects the great effort made by this team and by academics linked to the Aging Research Center." He added: "The journal is widely distributed and contains not only reviews but also original articles in which physicians in training, especially those in the family medicine program, participate."
