With the objective of delivering accurate information in the shortest possible time to support criminal investigations, this innovative development was unveiled at UANDES.

Researcher from the School of Dentistry and the Center for Biomedical Research and Innovation (CiiB)Carolina Inostroza , presented INSTAXYBLOODT, a rapid detection system for identifying sex hormones in human blood, aimed at supporting investigations associated with firearms offenses.

At the seminar "Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Forensic Evidence: Legal Aspects, Innovation, and Technological Design," advances in technologies applied to the forensic field were presented. Rodrigo Guerra, a Law School researcher, spoke on the standards of DNA testing and their legal implications, while Silvana Becerra, Deputy director of the Innovation Department, addressed the role of technology transfer in bringing scientific solutions to the institutions working in the field. 

The seminar was attended by professionals from the Investigative Police (PDI), who participated as audience members and followed the presentations throughout the event.
