As part of a tradition started in Oxford in 1962, the Congress of the International Association of Hispanists (IAH) is held every three years in different cities around the world. The XXI version was held in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
The XXII IAI Congress will be held in Santiago, Chile, July 21-26, 2025. It is organized by a consortium of Chilean universities: Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de los Andes.
This is the first time that this important academic event is held in Chile, and the second time in South America (Buenos Aires 2013).
This is a broad call for papers. Papers are welcome from all fields of the Humanities that may be linked to the Spanish language. So that they can to participate in research in the field literature, linguistics, history, art history, philosophy, cultural heritage, among other disciplines.
